Select paper white or absolute white base under Settings k Measurement parameters k

White base.

Select automatic or manual color selection under Settings k Color or in the selected

densitometric function under the menu line Color.

Procedure:

• Select the menu line Density by turning the <Control ball>.

• Activate the selected function by pressing the <Measurement key>.

• Select the menu line Measure paper white by turning the <Control ball>.

• Position the measuring aperture on the paper white and initiate a measurement by pressing the

<Measurement key>.

• The display White measurement done is shown for about 1 second.

• Position the measuring aperture on the color sample and initiate a measurement by pressing the

<Measurement key>.

• The measured density value is shown on the display.

• Select the menu line Return by turning the <Control ball> and actuate the <Measurement key> to

return to the main menu.
